Public Education One of the Coast Guard Auxiliary's cornerstone missions has always been educating the public on boating safety. Our classes will not only give you valuable information, but allow you to interact and work one-on-one with seasoned boaters. Your local flotilla periodically offers educational opportunities for the boating public. Courses are typically taught at The Coast Guard Auxiliary Operations Center at 6595 Lights Ferry Road, Flowery Branch, GA from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Other locations may be designated on the course schedule.
